One of our own here, who has been around for many years has fallen ill. He has some tumors on his pancreas and liver. He has lost 25 or 30 pounds and has gone from his home in south Texas to Atlanta GA to receive chemo and lots of other therapy and treatments to help him out.
He has felt a little improvement but is still pretty bad off. I know if he sees this he will probably kick my ass but oh well. Please if everyone will send out all the prayers and well wishes for him he and I will both appreciate it greatly.

I am sad to say that DeadEye47 passed away last night in his sleep after a painful battle. He was one of my very best friends and almost like a second father to me for the last 8 years. I am very sad to lose such a good friend and a great person, but he is now out of all the pain and suffering he has endured these last several months. Hopefully he is sitting up at the pearly gates shooting culb taking out the x-rings with his favorite black rifle like he loved to do. If you have a spare moment please send out a prayer or some well wishes for him and his family.

He is a good guy and has brought many new people into the enlightened gun loving world. He is an avid Black Rifle fan. When is the next Hun Shoot? I might have to drag him down there when he recovers. And for you ingnorant heartless reject fuckups out there, if you don't have anything nice to say (especially in a post like this) please have a big hot cup of SHUT THE FUCK UP!
If you don't pray you could just wish him well, or you could just go about your little life without interupting ours.

I might email him the link to this post in a few days and see if he has the strength to stal on long enough to check it out.

Deadeye...don't be pissed at Trojan. He's doing this cuz he cares. Your ARFCOM family can be a tight one sometimes. We're all on the same page here [no pun intended]. The power of prayer can be quite stong sometimes. My prayers go out to you for a healthy and speedy recovery.

Thanks guys for all the good coments and such. He is one of my best friends and my kids call him Uncle most of the time cause he seems so nice and close to the family.
I hope to see you all down the road at one of the future Hun Shoots or the big Gun Shows so I can shake your hands with Deadeye47 by my side doing the same.
