One of the ladies at work has a friend who is a single mother and now unemployed. The friend went to the Texas Workforce Commission to begin looking for employment. She was told that the displaced LA residents will be first in line for any available jobs. I guess she should look for work in LA.

It would no surprise me if it is. People are crawling out of the woodwork to post jobs in the disaster shelters.
