We tried recovering some of the projectiles from hunting but the only one we could get was a 147 subsonic out of the glock. It still went 10-16 inches deep.

did you see the guy sitting in the second pic with the range finder/binocs?? We always scan the area before we range the targets and then shoot. |

Not that I give a crap...But what is the legality on shooting in that area? I can only dream of a place like that to shoot. Is that private land? Federal?

This is the National Forest just north of me in Colorado. Elevation wise it goes from 9000-13000 in the area we were. It is not easy to get to without a serious 4whl drive. It is legal to shoot in the National Forest. |

It is above Dumont and Empire. If you search the web the popular destination is Bill Moore lake and we were on those trails.

Well, that more or less sums up how I do my camping trips when I go off road....
Minus the H1... Minus the full auto goodness... Minus the suppressed goodness... Atleast I have a load of ammo and it's always fun to haul out the 50BMG provided we are in an area that allows me to stretch it's legs. I seriously need to ditch this god forsaken limited wheel travel over burdening 2x4 Ford Ranger of doom and get myself something much more Burt Gummer-ish like a surplus 5 ton 6x6. |
