Damn good question.
It seems unpredictable. It's not from total inactivity. Also sometimes it seems I get logged out when I'm just reading pages. I don't think it's your browser settings - I think it has something to do with the AR15.com webserver/forum software. GB? |

I get logged out EVERYTIME I post something, so whatever you guys are doing, I'm doing it worse.

It may be as simple as your web browser caching the pages. Since it caches before you are logged in, after a post the page is built from whats already on your pc (thus the login boxes up top and no name in the list) if you hit refresh or reload then you should see if you're truly logged out or not.
If you set the autologin to be active, you should never be logged out. Works great and is less filling... [=)] Seriously, I recommend setting your caching value to "Every Vist To Page" (so the dynamic content is loaded every click), this may be a bit slower for modem users, but at least you will see whats going on without having to hit refresh. (If you're not accepting cookie, you will be logged off as well, session timeout is 15mins and session cookies are used to track who you are and that you're logged in.) -- GB |

I have found that if I post very obnoxious content or porn, the system keeps me logged in for a longer period of time.
If I recall correctly... I think that pictures of large breasted women (natural only -- NO silicone) kept me logged in for the longest period. You might want to give that a try ! |

I have to log in on every visit and it use not to do this untill a couple of days ago. I have it set to Auto Login and evrything is set the same on my computer as well. I can't figure it out....???
I guess I will have to log in on every visit. Oh well. |

tools->internet options
then click on settings If your autologin stops working, just go into your profile and save it again... your cookies mave have gotten screwed up somehow.... -- GB |

I have this same problem from my home computer. What is really strange is the logout problem only happens here and Mcuzi.com
Sometimes I can't even login to ar15.com, it just won't accept it. What gives? |
