British government =

The VCR Bill: On the 8th June 2005 the government unveiled their Violent Crime Reduction Bill (VCR Bill) which if passed in its current form will prohibit by law the trade/sale/import and manufacture of anything that looks like a firearm in the UK. The sport and hobby that we all enjoy now lies in severe jeopardy.

Its dangerous. People could get killed for walking around with somethign that looks like a firearm. Why in the world would you do anything that could kill you?

You may laugh, but that's exactly it, we will be "allowed" (GRRR) to continue to own any airsofts, but not to buy new ones, or parts for them, so eventually they will die off.

And no, they don't have orange tips. Dont think that would save them, certainly not under the wording of this bill.

Personally I have no problem with somebody getting shot by a police officer for pointing a toy at a man with a real gun and the training to use it. The only problem is the effect on the officer...

I think most of the members here would agree with that law.

Sounds good to me. Airsoft is like a Ferrari kit car on a Fiero chassis.

Edit... I swear I have a picture of it somewhere. I'll see if I can find it today.
