... Gas prices are too much for me to absorb. I remember when service calls were 29.95 and that was like 18 years ago... mine is gonna go up from 75.00 to 85.00 on Tuesday and my competition is up to 105.00 and 115.00. Holy crap!!!

I forsee bread, milk, other groceries and services going up as well if these prices dont come down soon. Now I service the rich people out here.. they could care less if I went up 10.00 but what about the normal blue collar worker like me? I cant afford me.!!!

Is that just to get your butt to the doorbell? what if they either have you do work or decline?

Our service calls went from $25.00 ten years ago to $35 plus .50cent a mile. Last week on the first we went to $60.00 plus .50cent a mile for residential. Knock on wood, no complaints yet. Joe

$50 show up during normal hours, $75 after hours for me, I'll bet it goes up also.

We do $10 trip charges for under 35 mi and have a minimum 1 hour charge.

We can afford short term fuel price increase. What is going to kill us is if shortages prevent us from buying necessary fuel.

Call and ask. I am friends with most service company owners so we talk a lot. We even warn each other about bitch customers.... Its true.
