I was trolling over on DU a minute ago, posting news links about mr. bush ordering the mandatory evactuation, and I saw them trying to hit this poll.

Lets see if we can sway it away from the DUmmies.

KEEP LINK COLD

HIT.

Agree with keeping the link cold.  If their webmaster were to find arfcom as the "Referer" website in their logs, it would immediately suggest to them the right-wing-gunnuts loaded their poll.  It's OK to hotlink it from DUh, tho

Adair, dude, that wasn't what I meant.

Don't link from arfcom TO DUh.  I meant, it's OK for DU to link to them.  I should have worded my snide remarks better.

ahh ok, I made the link uncold anyway.

If anyone still has a problem with what I just did, they can just shut the fuck up...

You should make that link cold. No hot links to DU.

What's the point of not making hotlinks to DU? They already probably have more retarded things to do with their time than check server logs, and I doubt that they don't know that this site exists.

somehow I think that trolls make it here anyway without being given top-secret directions after having someone carefully pore over the http referral list. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

Yes, they make it here anyway, but you should have seen it when they use to allow hotlinks to DU.

I'm a webmaster for a couple sites, some of which post political polls. I don't know if I hate DUers more for just being asanine leftist dipshits trying to skew polls, or freepers for being hysterical rightwing fucks who use exploits to skew polls and often end up crashing servers. I'm assuming the operators of this website know how to make referall parsing scripts so that when ar15.com is linked by a website such as DU, it presents them with, say, a picture of a man opening his bottom up? Or possibly a women in a bathtub playing Ol Faithful...

You know what is funny about that poll question - it is a double edged sword. On the one hand they want to blame bush, but then we all know who really is responsible for this is the mayor, the governor and mary landrieux for not having a disaster plan. So to say the govenment did ok would be a lie. I'll bet if that were a republican gov the shit would be hitting the fan. Oh, and let him be a white republican gov and it is all over.
