It is hard to say for sure, but since there is no top-mounted safety evident, it is not a Mossberg. It *could* be a Winchester, but I think the previous poster nailed it correctly as a Remmy. |

Looks like Remington 870 Police. I have an identical shotgun (purchased used from Potomac Arms in Alexandria, VA).
The Police has a noticably thicker barrel wall than the Express (I have an express, too). Potomac usually has a few for a decent price - Mine was probably $175 or $200. FWIW I was in WA state a couple weeks ago and saw a BARREL with a few of these at Kesselring's gun shop. Can't have too many 870's! |

Looks like and 870. It has two pins holding in the trigger group. A Win 1300 has only one.
