Why did he bring race up to begin with?  He could have made his comments without mentioning race.  When you do that you are either a racist yourself or trying to bait someone.

Why doesn't drag his white ass over there and help then?!

Do we really want a president that micro-manages right down to a levee system?

1. The levee that failed wasn't one that had been neglected due to inadequate funding.

2. The rescue mission that never should have happened materialized in three days. Three days from levee failure and the troops come rolling in.

3. The Troglodites that looted and burned their own city were there before the hurricane.  They didn't just wake up one day and say, "hey, I think I will go rape, murder and loot today".

4. If all these "experts" that KNEW BEFOREHAND that their town was prone to flooding would have taken the precaution to be prepared, they wouldn't need to be evacuated.

5. If you're going to be stupid then you'd better be tough.

Ok heres the scenerio:

President sends in troops of some sort to regain security and get the straglers out of the city where they can get food water and shelter. The looters now armed resist and are quickly brought down by troops in gunfights. Word spreads and riots ensue in other citys.

I dont think Id rush into anything with a bunch thugs walking around armed. Especially with the puplic eye glued to the news. Bush loses either way bottom line.
