The mayor was saying that he wasn't sure whether the govenor or the president was more to blame, but conveniently left himself out of the equation.

If New Orleans had a Guiliani, the situation would have been very different. Instead, they have a political animal, whose sole qualification is ..... I can't really figure it out. It ain't leadership ability, that's for sure.

New Orleans has had democratic leadership for decades. The most recent mayor Nagin is actually very progressive and sounds like a Republican sometimes. The current governor is a democrat and she is worthless. Her very first act when elected was to make MLK's birthday a state holiday. She is bought and paid for by the New Orleans black democratic groups.

Great. The city had not plan for such a disaster. IT SHOULD HAVE. The state had no plan for such a disaster. IT SHOULD HAVE. They are to blame and in true fashion, they blame someone else. BOTH SHOULD RESIGN!
