Would that even fly? I mean pay the barbarians in New Orleans to be part of the rescue and clean up? I l know real civilized Americans will do it anyway, but since this whole fiasco is a by product of .gov nanny state handouts, should we consider hiring them to clean their own and help?


I think it wouldnt hurt at all. Sure many wouldnt volunteer, but any help is better than looting and chaos. Yeah that will still g on but if even one of them helps constructively, its a benefit.

I doubt they will want to help.  My family is friends with a man who runs a local mission in our town.  yesterday he had people walk in, saying they would work to get a plate of food.  When he said he had some roofing that needed to be done, they walked out.

The town my family lives in has already had to shut down several gas stations because groups of people...  Armed people, tried to take them over the other day.  So, I instructed my mother to go and get my guns.  I can't stand being stuck up here, and not able to "protect" my family.  I bought those guns for fun, and for the protection of my family if I needed to.

I'm just glad my mother and step-father aren't afraid to use the ole Ak-47.

I bet a good number of them are and therefore we have been paying them to NOT work. That is definitely the problem of Democrats and Liberal socialism. Too bad they dont see the situation of chaos is their doing.
I think its start looking for any who will asist in doing what needs to be done. If they need to be paid to do so, then I say sine, at least they will be working for the $$ instead of sitting back getting high all day.

when they've done evacuating NO, they should make sure the looters stay, then knock down the remaining levees and throw them boat anchors when the ask for help....
