I was just wondering, after hearing on the news about " Several rapes and murders", I was curious about the rate of violent crime before the storm.  Now that the criminals are all in one centralized location, is that the reason for all the crime inside the Dome.  

On a normal night in NOLA, would there have been a few rapes, murders and muggings or are the gangbangers just taking extra advantage of their current situation?

Good question. Is it just "business as usual", but in a more confined environment?
