Was wondering if there were any net freqs for disaster ops. Haven't put the antenna back up since Frances took it down but I could probably get a dipole up pretty quick and move some traffic.

the regular National Traffic Net oughta be doing it, and I expect that some of the Red Cross units are going to be on scene by now.  People calling out should be all they are carrying, I expect that trying to find and deliver to folks down in the disaster areas is going to be pretty damn dificult for several more days.

But I wonder just how they are going to handle the thousands of messages, let alone tens of thousands.

My ARES/RACES Officer said Sheriff is running on 14.396.5 (Yeah, I know..20M)

I'm only a tech and am trying to at least be a runner for Radiograms with a local Extra..

ETA: Red Cross will only allow outgoing messages for the first few weeks and they have control of NTS during a disaster... Not to operate it, just control what is sent..
