Dove season opener--shot a little for those interested.  Lots of fun w/ my two boys.

It was afterward that I learned something else of the situation going on in NO.
Talking w/ the game warden and he was checking my license and I asked about the weekend shoots--he said he would be there for Sat., but didn't know about Monday b/c several of them (game wardens) have been called to go to NO b/c they work for the state and have boats.

I told him to take care and make sure to load up.

Has anyone else in other state heard about game wardens going down?  Just kinda weird to me, I knew of many volunteers (ems, leo's, etc) and national guard, but  the game wardens?

They have shallow draft boats.....
