My sister and her family live in Prarieville, LA between Baton Rouge and NO. The coffee plant where her husband works took major damage and that's not far from where they live. Theres been zero contact. She knows she can call me collect any time any where. I'm definitely getting worried.

My wifes family owns a condo in Ft. Lauderdale near Port Everglades that took a hit when Katrina went across S. Fla. 92 MPH winds, tons of sand of water.

My Brother in Law owns and rents out a frame house in Biloxi not far from the casinos. I imagine thats a total loss. No word from his tenant. He lives up North.

Are we having fun yet?

Would someone in good standing with the Lord please pray for my sister and her family? Shes a good girl and definitely doesn't need this shit!  I'd do it myself but I'm afraid of doing more harm than good when it comes to the almighty.

*UPDATE* Thank God! I heard from sister this evening. Their house had some damage and water damage but otherwise in good shape.  Had no phone or electric service until today. I'm very relieved! I appreciate you guys who put in a good word for us. Apparently someone was listening. Thank you!
