If I remember correctly, that show is about specific guns...  i.e. John Wilkes Booth's pistol...

I know there was a 'Tales of the Gun' that counted down their top ten picks of the most important or significant firearms made.  It was of models of firearms, not individual guns.

8  Matchlock Musket
7  M1 Garand
6  AK47
5  1898 Mauser
4  Brown Bess
3  M1911 .45
2  Colt Paterson Revolver
1  Maxim Machine Gun

Pretty decent list.  There are others that have a case to be put on the list, but I don't see any here that just flat-out don't belong.
