I got until Tuesday here

We were told to expect shortages but somehow got chain priority and I got a fill up at work last night, and another this morning. They aren't letting my store get below 5000 gallons of unleaded.

In Central Florida, there are a few stations out of gas, but if you go to the less travelled road, there is still plenty.

+1  Gas is available, but all the Crown stations seem to be selling at $3.59 or so - even when the cometing station just across the street is selling for $2.80.

WTF is up with that, especially as Crown is ususally the 'el cheapo' gas.

Opposite here, the less traveled roads have nothing at all, even out towards nothing where I live.

I just fueled up in Durham, NC for $2.99/gallon. I don't drive a lot, so it was a big jump since I bought gas a couple of weeks ago.

My BP barometer was reading 2.7999 for 87oct this am on the way in. Ad rep came thru and said it was now 2.999. Haven't confirmed, but I'm skipping lunch to push thru some work before LDay, so by the time I leave who knows?

No problems with supply. @$3/gal I bet they find a bunch to sell. May be surprised by panic buying in spots, but they'll react. For now. NO accounts for a lot of petrol.

Taxman - in downtown ATL I saw gas stations with gas and no lines - 3.29 a gallon.

There is plenty of gas in Georgia - we just tried to get four days' supply in one afternoon yesterday and the distribution system is playing catchup.

$2.99 for regular here in North Central Wisconsin.  No lines anywhere I've been-----think the price rise is going to have an impact on Labor Day weekend travel, though.

Wednesday I filled up our van at the Costco.  It had gone up to $2.45 per gal.  No shortages yet, but the lines at Costco are getting awefully long.

Correction. Just got back from town and regular is now $3.13 at the Shell and still $2.99 across the street. That is $.44 in two days and every other station I saw was doing fairly heavy business.
