I was cruising throught the channels earlier and Paula Zahn was interviewing the Governor of Texas. They were discussing the use of the Astrodome for the refugees. The gov said that they will place 23,000 people there. Paula responded, "don't you think you could be doing more? Doesn't that stadium hold many more people than 23,000"?
I wanted to the gov to tell her to go to hell, but he politely explained that they want to keep things sanitary and in a liveable condition. He also explained that they are creating shelter at any place they can. I don't believe these reporters think much before they open their mouths. |
