Is this the Buffalo in the clip?

The BUFFALO is the most advanced Mine Resistant Vehicle in the world,
with multiple mission configurations and specifically designed field
reparability. This vehicle design mates South African monocoque capsule
protection with the latest in American automotive technology to produce a
vehicle with the best visibility, load carrying capacity, interior space and
parts availability of any vehicle in its class.

The BUFFALO offers 45 pound landmine protection on any wheel and 30
pound mine centerline protection, along with standard ballistic protection
of 7.62mm NATO ball, upgradeable to Dragunov AP. The roof of the
BUFFALO is identical to the sides, providing equal overhead ballistic and
splinter protection, creating the only MRV in its class with full 360-degree
occupant protection. SFF Plates are available as an option to defeat the
latest generation of Self - Forming Fragmentation mines.

Peterbilt Motor Company has been selected as the preferred truck
supplier for TSG vehicles. TSG has entered into a business alliance with
Peterbilt through Rush Enterprises of Texas. Peterbilt provides an
outstanding vehicle line, individual customer specified manufacturing
capability, established international distribution channels and excellent
customer support service

They may not have had a clear line of sight.
They may not have had a good backstop.
They may have wanted to avoid detonating it in that area.

The crew seem to be examining the device to determine if it is an IED.
I'm sure they could have dropped their own bomb next to it and detonated if they had wanted to have done with it quickly.
