As nerdy as I remain, I was able to bring myself to grow out of my high school years.

Sadly, my older brother did not.  He flew from Pheonix to attend.  Oddly though, he is married and I am the bachelor.  Huh.

8 pages of photos and the only thing close to a babe was Tricia Helfer.

I think you are safe taking down the BOTD.

And yet all they do is sit around rolling dice, argueing about the effects of a +5 Vorpal Slayer Sword, eat way too many cheetohs and chug down way too much soda pop to sustain the late night dice rolling.  Perhaps every few weeks get out with their crew to visit the local cinedome to catch the lasted installment of Star Wars: Episode Suckfest.....in costume.

Yeah, real intellectual giants.

I presume Tesla was a big time White Wolf fan.

It was not our server that nailed him on the "bandwith theft" crap (which is gay).

He posted a photo from a different web site.

Thought you should know...

Mother's disused '87 Aerostar minivan is not a Ferrarri.  Not even close.

Writing "4RE" on the back window through the primary layers of dust and grime, though comical, does not disabuse the unnerd herd of this fact.

I am now in my element. Absorbing all the positive energy and feeling at home with my fellow gamers when someone tried to ruin it for me. I was heading towards the dealer hall (not yet open- but getting close) when a convention worker by the name on his shirt said Rick R came through the crowds and rammed into my leg a heavy cart he had been pulling. As soon as it hit me- my leg went numb & almost knocked me down. He kept going as if nothing occurred. I yelled after him in disbelief- due to the force of impact he knew had had just hit something solid. There are only people at this time in the middle of the hall (a lot of them). I couldn't walk after him, so I yelled out to him. He turned around and said it was my fault because I walked into his cart. No apologies, no concern, just meanness from this individual. He paused just enough time for me to see his name on his shirt (Rick R) and then he continued on.

Looking back, I am glad it was me who he hit and not some little kid or a child. They would have been leveled and left in considerable pain. I had a "Charlie horse" for the rest of the convention because of this inconsiderate human being. I am quite convinced that no one will miss him when he no longer walks among us, nor a tear will be shed on his behalf. Maybe he was having a bad day, but the thought keeps going through my mind- it could have been a kid.

Read it, especially the parts in red.

What a bunch of sissies!

I will never understand the concept of the
"con."

I would not dress up like Tiger Woods and
go to a golf equipment show, so why would
30+yo men dress up like Gandolf and Di Gi
Charat characters.
