Well done, and congratulations on your new baby. It feels great to have a new rifle, especially if it's your first.
A word of advice(even though you didn't ask for it), go to the ar15 forum and read the thread about the perfect tactical rifle setup. Scroll through until you get to a post done by USMC03. It explains what you should be focusing on with your rifle. It will help you to prioritize what you REALLY NEED for your rifle. It will probably save you a lot of money and frustration. If I were you(more unasked for advice), I would sell that scope and get a set of rear iron sights, a three point sling, more mags, ammo, and start shooting. When you have the rifle broken in and know how it runs, and have worked out the quirks, take a class. Then you will know what bells and whistles you need (or don't need) to bolt on to your rifle. A lot of this high speed super secret squirrel stuff looks cool, but is completely unnecessary for you, and may even hinder your performance.
Good luck and good shooting. Enjoy your new rifle!
