I say that 50+ people die (because there are always epople who do stupid things and are ignorant).

I am also going to say the overall damage cost value will be about 20 billion.

There have already been 7 people killed by this storm. It looks like she is going anular so they can expect 150 mph winds sustained ofr up to 12 hours and a 25 foot storm surge which will submerge N.O. under 3 or 4 stories of water.

I fear a way higher death toll than your estimate. Several hundred anyway.
I hope I'm wrong.

I'm heading down tommorow morning to operate radio for Army MARS and FEMA. Ain't looking forward to it.
