He is asking the ARF community of money managers this question:
$1.11 a liter (Canadian money) OR $2.88 a gallon (US money) Which is the "better deal". Oh yea, his initials are CV.

Since a liter is about a quart, and there are four quarts in a gallon, we still have the better deal by far.

I've NEVER seen gas be cheaper in Canada than in the US.

1 gallon = 3.77 liters
$1 US = $1.20 CD Convert $CD to $US ($1.11 x 1.2) Canadian gas is $1.33 US per liter You have to buy 3.77 liters of gas to equal a gallon ($1.33 x 3.77) So Canadian gas is $5.01 US a gallon. Is my math right? If so that SUCKS! |

Your math is wrong. It'd be 1.11 x .8 to convert to USD. Basic rundown, $4 CDN for a gallon, ends up being about $3.20 USD per gallon.

Always fill up on the US side of the border, and >5 miles from the border. CV should stop at the gas station at exit #266 on the way up, and then on the way back....

A pittance dude... Right now reg gas is about .95 a litre 'round my place or call it $4 a Gallon.... so at 53% we're paying over $2 per gallon in tax... I laugh at your 62cents in gas tax... |

Thanks LGB & the math guys!!!! Exit 266 it is!!!  I didnt say anything about defection.  The first hippy-liberal-frog car driver sleeps too damn much to know truth from fiction, and Phil is jealous his GF is making him move to New Jersey. Hey Phil, give you $50 cash for those guns you cant have there!  And the Japanese girls were not illegal, although some of what they did may be.
