IIRC, South Africa also used that system to during sanctions.

This sounds like a good investment to me. It would just be to bad if we could tell the ARABS to stick their oil.

Yep, back to coal, phased in over 50 yrs or so while the oil production tails off.
and in another century we'll be back to wood... The industrial revolution in reverse.... Industrial civilization is a one shot deal, too bad we've wasted it on suburbia/fast food/war/etc. Blew our one chance to get off this rock/build a permanent infrastructure /etc. Coal is a good investment though. |
