I'm looking for a good online site to buy these from.  Someone tell me if these pants are any good(never wore them before) and the best place to go with good prices, thanks.

Good pants.   However with the mass marketing and pseudo operators now wearing them,  the cat is out of the bag.     Check your local LE supply store.

I've been told that the sellers are required to keep up to list price on these, and it seems true.  About every place I have seen are $39 or more; no cut-rate sellers.

Is this true?

They're great.  They come in cotton or nylon.  Lots of pockets.  The cotton is a little heavier.  Nylon is more durable.

Not much use, if I don't want kneepads.  The coffee mug is cool, but not a deal maker.
The free shipping on two, that might be...

I would still like to find someone selling under the party-line price.

different style that what the original poster is looking for I think. More dressy than the 5.11 with the strap, deep rears and cargo but still a good deal.

They are fantastic.

You can carry a ton of stuff in them.

I have yet to tear or harm my RR pants in any way, and I am rough on them. They fade a bit, but still look presentable after a lot of washings.

They allow a lot of flexibility and movement.

It is a rare pair of pants that you can spend the afternoon running around a carbine range hopping up and down, climbing on stuff and running your brains out, dust them off, put on a button up shirt and then go out with the rest of your classmates to a nice restaurant for dinner.

Plus they are more comfortable than any jeans you will find.

Same thing happened with Levi's and Wranglers.  Once the people saw how cool the miners and cowboys were in their "blue jeans", the cat was out of the bag.

How is the sizing on these?  Figuring 36" waist in jeans - will they be the same?

They tend to run a tad roomier than Levis. A 36 would allow you to comfortably wear an IWB pistol if your 36 jeans fit snugly.
