ETA - the mandatory "blind eye" policy shoved down local LE throats is worse than the lack of a minefield by the Rio Grande. Exactly.  The government truly doesn't want to stop them.  Now THAT's the fact.  Throw a few employers in FEDERAL PRISON and it would stop.  That won't happen.  It's a wink and a nod at from the Federal government.  "STOP coming" they say, and "oh, by they way we are removing the boarder patrol from Texas this month so we can concentrate on Minnesota / Canadian security"  Wink wink.

I bonded 4 non pappered mexicans out last night at work. All for the charge of theft/stolen property $50-$500. There was anINS hold on them, but INS didn't reply to the Co jail so they green lighted them for bonding. They all had jobs, & all 4 lived in the same trailer. None of them had SS#'s, Dl's, ID's, or any way to track them.

The law recently changed so that if they get deported after they are bonded we get our bond money back.

Of course I had to speak with a 10 yr old boy when the group showed up at 2 am on a school night. He was the only one who spoke english. Sometime I really hate my job, or at least the stupid bastages I have to deal with.

My point being INS, & the Co jail all had the chance to send them home & didn;t. Things need to be changed.

Send any officer or owner of any company who hires one to jail for a year for each one hired and fine them $100,000 per illegal. Presto, no jobs, no illegals. Enforce the heck out of it.

No offense, but that is what I thought before I moved to Texas. Now that I have been here awhile, I realized that is not a solution, and that is not how illegal employment works.

Illegals are not working illegally in stand-up companies like IBM, Exxon, McDonald's, or other places where you can easily crack down on the employer and round them up or prevent them from getting jobs. They are not Doctors, Lawyers, Police officers, etc.

They are working in an underground cash-based economy which is almost impossible to stop. They are almost always off-the books, and when they are on-the-books, they use valid ID to get and maintain the job.

2 year volunteer Border Patrol Program where you are trained and work on the border for 2 years.  Like the National Guard,  but Border Patrol.  Both Canadian and Mexican border.

Build walls or clearings that can be monitored.  Have manpower to arrest anyone who crosses illegally.

Mobilize some of the Army,  National GUard etc to guard the border.  Along the hotspots.

Put mines at our ocean borders.  Make regulations for anyone traveling into US waters by sea to only go into predetermined routes.  Else kaboom.  This will stop drugs and lord knows what ele from getting in by speedboat.

Allow people to openly carry their weapons with them wherever they go.

Setup a central database of all citizens.

Require ID's(drivers licenses) for shopping,  getting gas,  buying bus and airplane tickets,  getting a taxi ride.  Everything an illegal immigrant might do,  or a terrorist.  Have your ID get scanned whenever you do one of these things. "public activities".

Deport everyone who is here illegally by doing a census (house to house verification).  Hire hundreds of thousands of census workers to carry it out.

Require Mexico to break away from North America with a huge volcano explosion.

Invade Canada.

Do a million man volunteer drug task force to sweeep the streets clean.  No drug business,  no illegals.  They would have no money to live.  WOuld solve alot of problems.

Arrest Vicente Fox for having a shithole of a country and causing us problems.

Publically taunt all neighboring countries to clean up their acts and how much better we are,  "to tell them to look at how many people try to immigrate".

Possibly Invade Mexico,  although who would want it.  Maybe we can sell it to the UK or something since they are so small,  they might need more land.  Wipe out some of our 'debt'.

Pay each Mexican citizen 350,000$ like we did Israel.


There are alot of solutions to the immigration problem.  We havent done any of them.

I always did like the Swiss...and they make great guns too!

Step one:  Remove the anchor baby process.  You must be a legal resident here for your baby to receive citizenship

Step two:  Make a guest worker program.  With a background check, you receive 5 years in the grand old US of A.  If, during those 5 years, you don't violate any law greater than a civil misdemeanor, and you can pass a citizenship examination, you will be granted citizenship, with all the rights and obligations therein.
If you violate any law with a criminal penalty greater than 6 months in prison, or do not pass your citizenship test during your 5 years here, you will be sent back to Mexico.  If you are caught after your initial failure, you will be sent for a term of no less than 5 years to an outsourced prison in the former Soviet Bloc,

Step three:  Since it is now easy to get into the US legally, any one crossing the border will be considered an invader.  There will be a $5000 bounty, payable to any citizen, for any border crosser detained.  There will be a $1000 penalty assessed for each of these invaders that is turned over dead.
