i am a week out of being in the exact same situation. hosptials are horror shows in my opinion.

Had my gall bladder removed in Feb. It was pretty painless. I was moving around/sitting up in bed hours after the surgery. Make sure they leave the duct in. You can still eat anything you want without it running through you.

My ex had hers out. She said it caused her to have permanant diarea.
 But then again she's a retread.Sorry your down, I pray you will be better soon.

Hospital food is teh uber suxxor. My mom is in for knee replacment, they gave her turkey, broth, cold gravy, cold peas and carrots,(which she hates), and several things she doesn't drink (coffee, 7UP, milk, and cranberry juice.) |

Well I am back home tonight complete with all the parts I went in with. First stop was for a burger. Man was that good! Now for a few hours rack time in my own bed and back to work in the morning. |
