Quoted: Do you have a completely new cd key with the upgrade cd? If so you can just put the cd in and select upgrade then "upgrade" over the original install. The only problem you may run into is if your current install is a newer version than the cd. IE its a older cd with service pack 1 and you have already updated to service pack 2

Well I'm actually receiving it in the mail, so I don't "have" it yet... I've never used an upgrade, I've always used fresh installs. Do they come with one? I just assumed it did.
If the Upgrade "saves" your old CD-Key, that would actually be cool too, I can install ME and do it, but If I can install over my current install with The upgrade (that is assumed to have a fresh CD key) that would be much more convenient. I dont want to have to format basically :( This is the whole point in my questions being asked, I have so much crap on my PC that I've saved throughout the years that it would take too long to backup. I'm trying to do this as cleanly and easily that I possibly can.
If any of you have personal experience with upgrade versions, whether or not they come with a CD Key is another of my questions now :(
