Now what in the heck do I do with this behemoth?
 I won it in a radio contest drawing (I wasn't even sure what the drawing was for). I haven't picked it up yet, but I searched online & it appears to be a 21 lbs. radio/cd player with all kinds of battery chargers & outlets. Anyone have one of these monsters? I wonder if the sound quality is any good. |

I'd say it's more than sufficient for a backyard BBQ or a beach party. Congrats! If you don't want it, let me know when a good time to swing by would be.

I may take you up on that offer. Although I'd spend twice that in shipping. Apparently it can withstand a drop of 10 feet w/out the cd player skipping. May have to test it out.

Those things generally go for $150+. They are meant for construction sites primarily, but obviously not just for contractor use. It's a boombox plus battery charger (for cordless power tools). As you said, it can withstand a substantial drop.
I'd keep it if I were you. |
