I Don't have time, oatmeal, salad, frozen pizza, apple sauce, and yogurt. All cheap, quick, and easy.

wtf? no...
I find that being unable to cook and fend for oneself is about as pathetic and embarrasing as not being able to change your own oil on your vehicle. Its not hard to figure out, and its a damn shame if you have to rely on someones else to FEED you. |

I can cook something but i sure as hell can't bake or make a pot pie or something I am more than capble of survial level kill it and grill it or making a salad I never opend a cook book probably nto that hard i guess kinda like reloading

I can cook pretty darn well...
 Has to do with the fact I am a chef by profession. Don't feel bad-LOADS of people cannot cook.(nor have the inclination to do so) Just find a friend who can and learn from them-it's oddly how being a pro works. You work for cooks better than yourself and learn from them... |

Pot pie is easy.....
Basic pastry dough, diced meat and veggies, butter salt pepper and a few seasonings, top it off, cut vent hole and bake....... (precook filling, but not completely or the meat will be too tough... |

Man, learn to do some cookin'.
One of the best deal closers I've had in my barely year-old bachelor life are a nice meal, prepared from memory. I've perfected a simple pasta dish that rocks with smoked salmon, shrimp, or just extra garlic. Basically it's a fettucine with whatever you have to perk it up, that makes you look like a gourmet but is stone simple. Just add a decent bottle of wine (or two) and life is good.
