Just cooked up a Freschetta Brick Oven pepperoni on my pizza stone the wife gave me...........reminds me of the thin crust pizza I used to eat all the time growing up in St. Louis..........mmmmm......that is all.

I always thought it was a waste of money to get a pizza stone, intill I tried one. Next is to do the wood burning oven MMMMmmmmm.

I use mine to bake foccacia bread.  Very handy item to have.

Damn you.  Have to talk about pizza and it's an hour till lunch break.  Damn you damn you damn you.


BTW, pizza stones rock.  They can make even the $.99 Totino pizzas edible.

ONLY if yo heat them up for like 2-30 min to make sure tehy are good and hot.

I try to ust the pizza oven (bar type) i gots- tough to beat

They are great, you just need to heat them awhile before using.

yeah, gotta preheat.  30 minutes @ 400* works good.

and NEVER wash em.  just wipe the debris off em and put em up.  just like an iron skillit

If you ever feel the need to clean one, just put it in the oven and set it to self-clean.  It'll burn off the offending crud.

Soap is a big no-no.

they still work WHEN they crack..

couple of my pizza rules:
1. No totinos fake cheese dog shit pizza- can get DECENT semi- real frozen Za's for like 1.50/2.00 each
2. heat oven/ stone to 500
3. Add more toppings
