First  Second Most recent sign I am getting really old, realizing I need a portable shooting table.

1) Sturdy. It doesnt have to hold my big ass but must hold up any gun placed upon it including a .50 and not fold under ecoil or leaning on it.

2) Portable. I will be taking it here and there. It needs to either come apart or fold up.

3) Must be failry reasonable cheap. I am not spending $199 on a shooting table. That will almost buy me a case of good ammo.

Will build if necessary (doesnt matter the material), need pics, plans, links or ideas.

Thanks!

Made in China need not apply.

Plywood top, cut to shape, double thickness if you like.
Folding legs like what you see on some tables.  They fold down and lock in place.  Done.

Hmm.  Google is your friend:

ETA:
This is more what I had in mind

BTDT, saw that one, looks a little more bulky than what I was hoping for.

I guess I was trying to see what was out there, outside the conventional proverbial box.

I didnt see that one on my Google search. While taking a little more room, and possibly not being as sturdy as the first one, I like the thought pattern of not taking the legs apart. Sharp.

I should point out that if you don't get a USA, union-made shooting bench, I'm going to remind you about it for the next quarter-century.
