Mason City Iowa held this years Pyrotechnics Guild International (PGI) convention.

It is a week long competition, trade show, and chemical/fireworks sales.

I was able to make it on the last day, and I took my video camera.

Bad news was the camera doesn't do a good job capturing color in low light,
so all of the "pretty" shells look as good as the ugly ones.

Good news it is captures the audio pretty good, and the big saluts were awesome.

My favorite was this series of salute shots.
