I can usually pick one up for $250- $300. You shouldn't have any problem getting that if it's in good shape. long action or short action... doesn't matter. People are always wanting to build a rifle.
ETA : If it doesn't have a bolt you may as well junk it. |

Well, what I have is a Rem 700 ADL in 7mm Rem Mag. About 10 years old, with a wood stock. Rifle is in really good shape. It was an iron sight model, but i took off the sights and lost them. It is a complete rifle other than that. I've been told it's only worth about $275, I was trying to figure out if parting it out was the way to go or not.

It's worth at least $275 especially with fall coming. Look at what Bass Pro sells a new one for and subtract $100. |

The reason I asked about the caliber is I am building a 300WM, and am having a hard time finding a mag caliber version for a donor.
Selling the receiver and bolt can fetch $250-300. If you want it to go away, e-mail me. |
