I learned when I lived in Miami .never leave anything in your car you dont want stollen..........and dont lock the doors, they just break out the window....and steal it anyway!!

that's the damn truth. They break into our tahoe all the time (no alarm on it) and the window last time replaced was $250 for the back door window, deep tinted. We leave it unlocked now and leave nothing in it. My car has an alarm and for whatever reason they have never broken into it. Of course I never leave anything in it either, except the carseat. Not in Miami, but Indianapolis. |

Sory to hear it. I guess you do not have a fence or gate. I had my trooper broken into when I lived in Seattle. I had to leave it open. I moved..... Our biggest problem in Seattle was junkies looking for CD's or pawnable items. After a guy got shot on our street for confronting the crooks, and it took fifteen minutes for any emergency vehicle to get to us, I moved out the next week, and cut my losses. Now I live in rural Texas, and have not seen a crime in 7 years.

I hate thieves. I had my truck broken into a couple years ago in my driveway. They stole about 140 cds, the faceplate to my cd player, 3 subwoofers, the boxes they were all in, a pair of 6x9s and my amp. They tore my dash apart trying to get my deck out by prying with screwdrivers and things. It ended up being well over 1000 in damages and losses.
I felt like crying. Replaced my stuff, got an alarm, and now I take the faceplate and cds in with me every night. Losing my cd collection is what hurt the most. I had a lot of imported stuff that is now sold out and out of print. Still bums me out. |
