I'm needing a new toy. I'm desperately scratching cash together, and hopefully soon will have enough.

I have a Bushy 16" HBAR with collapsible stock, my first AR, and I like it. Carry handle upper.

Do I:

Buy ACOG to attch to current weapon?

Build an A2 just for shits and giggles?

Build SPR-ish type AR?

Big bullet upper?

I have no real need for any of these, but I can't do it all. I'm working a job in my spare time for fun money, and will soon be quitting that job, so the gravy train will come to an end. This may be my last large purchase of this sort for quite a while, since I still have to store up a shitload of ammo now. Help me choose.

I vote option 2.  Build an A2, for shits and giggles.

I am working on an A2 build myself.  Just have to wait until payday to buy the BCG.

Take a FIREARMS TRAINING COURSE.

Sounds like you have enough hardware, buy some software.

Convert the gun to a lighter barrel profile and swap out the upper receiver to a flattop. Then buy an Aimpoint Comp ML/M2. Then get enough ammo and mags for SHTF uses. Then get some training.

I'm quitting my second job, which has been the means through which I have purchased nearly all of the weapons I now possess, as well as my reloading equipment and ammo and my safe. No way in hell I'm going to be jobless if I have a say in it.

ACOG's are awsome, but I like the idea of getting an upper with a can.  A 20" flat top upper, a good scope and a can will turn the heads at the range.  Or you can just buy a pile of mags and ammo.  Either way, sounds like your head is on straight.
