The first thing we need to do is send a poll to Russia asking if everyone wants to be an American citizen.  Of course 70+% is going to say yes.  Then we take Russia the same way we took Alaska except instead of money we offer citizenship as payment.  We then pour jobs in the form of factories and fuel production to the petroleum loaded Siberia.

We let the Russian president and officials be the governers and leaders of our new Russian states and offer them everything we get and tax their paychecks.  The fuel from our own land would be payment enough.  It would eventually make a great hunting and vacation spot.

We then bomb N. Korea and the middle east to oblivion and let China and Japan have that oil.  Then the US has the most land, a lot of new happy citizens, and plenty of Alaskan and Siberian fuel.  Japan and China will still make TVs and everyone will be happy.  

I admit I am a little drunk but it would work.

Well at least my thread isn't about anything liberal.  It is all about the bombs and the fuel.

The dregs of their socialist culture and their entitlement demands would probably outweigh the economic benefits of easy access to their natural resources.
