Best Buy has several DVD/HDD  video recorders.

I'm looking for one that is HDD only.

I don't need DVD, and am hoping a unit will be cheaper without one.

Does such a thing exist?

I've searched the web, but there are so many DVD/HDD out there that I can't
find a stand-alone HDD video recorder.

Thanks

Doesn't TIVO require you subscribe to their service?

I'm specifically wanting to use this to record video I'm going to feed to it.
Not television.

You are right.
I assumed you had to use their service,
but a Google proved me wrong.  (with your help)

Thanks!
