ST 2 and 3 were the best, 6 and 8 were pretty good, 7 was okay, the rest were crap.
9 and 10 piss me off the most though. The plot of ST9:Insurrection is basically that there is a planet that has some energy that can be harvested to use as a fountain of youth. evil admiral guy wants to harvest it to save 100's of billions of lives, but picard intervenes because he doesn't want to disrupt the 1000 or so natives living there. Way to go, ya selfish bastard. Also ST 10 just blew chunks. |

ST5, between the 'god' thing and the fact some malcontents could somehow take over the Enterprise when the computer reponds to the Captains voice (Kirk has started the Self Destruct for far less reasons). It was too goofy to believe.
ST1 was bad, really bad - almost a redo of one of their TOS episodes. The one good thing is brought the ST franchise back. ST4 - I found rather enjoyable and funny - some stupid hippy stuff to be sure, but it was funny. ST9 - Weak for sure, but the story was better than ST1 ST10 - Better than ST9... |

Original Cast:
1: Decent story, but slooooow. Not horrible, but not that great either. 2: Best one. Great story, great action. Shatner's acting was actually good! 3: Decent movie, but not great. Better than 1. 4: One of my favorites. Good use of humor, and it doesn't take itself too seriously. A fun ride. 5: The camp scene was cute. Sucked ass after that. 6. Very good story. A great send-off for the original cast. Would have been 10 times better if they had kept Lt. Saavik instead of introducing Lt. Valaris. Then we wouldn't have guessed who did it in the first 20 minutes. TNG Cast: 7. Some people hate it, but I liked it for the most part. Some annoying bits, but not too bad. 8. Best TNG movie by FAR. Overall, a good movie. Not quite as good as 2. 9. Fair, but not that great. Stupid use of Data as comic relief is old and tired. Poor writing. 10. Like 9 but even worse. Put them out of their misery already. |
