I'm not even a southerner by birth and I think it's stupid. Some people really need to leave their home town and travel some. Nothing backwards about the south, just not as progressive as the north which is a good thing. |

Gentlemen (and Ladies), I ASSURE you it was NOT my intention to mistitle this as some anti-Southern thing. My mistake in saying Southern States, instead of Southern border states, has clearly made this a dumbass thread. Again, my error. My intention was to discuss increasing comparisons between the Gaza pull out and the increasing impact on the border states of illegal immigration and groups like La Raza, that claim it is really Mexican territory.
I am not a troll and was not at any point intending for my post to be taken as anti-"Southern". If I have written anything here in my hasty retraction/correction/mess that is likewise stupid, please let it roll off and chalk it up to the end of a bad week.

The question you intended to pose was pretty apparent to me, and I agree with your premise to some extent. Israel's agreement to give land for peace will embolden others to work the same deal. After seeing the changes that have taken place along the Mexican border of Texas in just the last 30 years, it's not hard to imagine this happening here in the future. Many of these areas are already almost unrecognizable as being in the USA. |
