I have a laptop I'm trying to sell. It's worth about $1100 and is kinda new. Some guy offered his HK Expert in .45 for trade. What do you think, is this a fair trade?

Laptop = decrease in value, out of date the day you bought it.

HK-expert = hard to get handgun that will only increase in value = good trade.

You'd be stupid to not get the Expert.

I don't know much about the Expert model. How is it different to the USP guns and the other one - Tactical?

I have an expert. The BBL is a tad longer than the standard USP, has adjustable sights. The the main claim to fame is the trigger. The triggers on the Expert is really good. The only problem is that magazines are expensive.

whitelight: WELCOME
I would go with the trade. Apparently your friend has no further need for a HK USP Expert and needs a laptop computer, and you have no further need of a laptop, and could use a HK USP, it's a match made in heaven. Life don't get any better than this.

Yes, definitely. Like others have said, the laptop will depreciate while the Expert should hold it's value. Try to get some ammo/mags out of the deal just to sweeten it a bit.

Geez now the guy wants to add cash to his HK to sweeten the deal for me. How much cash should I ask for?

Dude do it. You don't even need the cash but take $50-$100 just so he doesn't think you're getting an awesome deal.

I'm making the trade. Thanks for all the posts, I will be the owner of an HK USP Expert in .45 soon.
