He passed on 30 minutes after we got to the hospital.
He was complaining of having trouble breathing around 930. By 1100 they called an ambulance. What was wrong was he had fluid in the sack around his heart, so no matter how many breaths he took, his heart wasn't pumping enough blood to his lungs. Finally, around 130am, he said "I'm ready to go home." A few minutes later his blood pressure dropped off and he died. Thank God it was quick and fairly painless. Thanks for the prayers. Pray for his wife and kids. eta: he was 68. He actually did seem a little pale and under the weather in retrospect. He started feeling bad during his evening walk. That's probably what brought it on. |

Sorry for the loss - it is so hard to lose someone dearly loved. Prayers sent for his family - may they be well, happy, and at peace.
