It's gonna be a great weekend.

I am moving into a new place and picked up a new grill today. I love the design, as it allows dozens of cooking options.

I am seasoning it for a few hours tonight to get it ready for the weekend. (I am only using the briquettes for seasoning, I use natural lump charcoal and wood chunks for food.)

Here she is, smoking away.

I've got a dozen 2" thick porkchops and a dozen New York strips which I am seasoning tonight. I also picked up two cases of Coors light for company and a case of Killian's for me.

Nice.

I'm your long lost cousin from Virginia.

I'm on my way there and adding you to my will right now.

Have lots of beer.

Whew!

When I looked at the first grill pic, I though it was gas.

Good for you. Coals and or natural wood is the only way to go.

If you're cooking on a gas grill, you may as well be in the kitchen with the wimmen.

I like that setup. If I didn't already have a Kamado grill I'd seriously look at one of those. Keep us posted on it's performance.

Preach it brother! I always say that gas is for "men" who can't make fire.

+1 to CharBroil!
My dad has one-minus  the smoker but has the side burner.  Loves it.  He wanted the Weber but HD had the CharBroil for cheaper.

Actually, besides grilling, barbecuing, and smoking, you can cook food at three different tempatures simultaneaously, use a combination of direct and indirect heat, grill meat and veggies at different temps, steam veggies, smoke cheese...

The options are vast if you know what you are doing.

My Dad has a Kamado, man those are nice grills! I'd love to have one in cobalt blue.

Man I thaught you were going to shoot the grill. Most of my stuff has bullet holes in it. It makes a nice effect.

I'd be interested in hearing how the CharBroil holds up?  My Brinkmann is several years old, and is in need of replacement, but they are getting hard to find.

Weber kettle grills are nice, just not as versatile. I got the grill as a wedding gift, but they are around $170 at Wal Mart.

I like the smoker option on those type, but the weber can make a fine burger
