It was my nephews 12th birthday party & most of my family was there. I finally made the big annoucment. I bought a new Kimber! I got it a few months ago but didn't tell my family because of money having been so tight for so long. I used an insurance check for hail damage that ruined my Cabela's Alaskan guide model dome tent & that with $150 from my pay check I was able to swing it.
At least I was able to share it with Arfcom when I 1st got it. It is a Kimber classic stainless, & I got it at a local pawn shop for $750.00 out the door.  It has Hogue camo laminated grips & a combat mag well, with the night sights. Oh yeah it came with a Wilson combat magazine too. Oh,..& for those who are wondering,...my family took it well.  Have you ever had to come out of the secret gun buying closet? |

A) She's thinks I have a "black" gun and a "silver" gun. B) I don't "hide in the closet" per se...I just practice "don't ask/don't tell" with her. IF she were to ask me "Did you buy a new gun?" I would answer truthfully - and it would probably sound like this "Honey, I've had this particular gun for years!" |

That is why all my AR15's are BLACK! Most people can't tell one from another! It's also the reason both my 1911 style pistols are almost identical.    She recognized the Glock as soon as I pulled it out of the range bag!   BigDozer66 |

I bought a Colt pistol with out telling the wife and told the gun dealer DO NOT CALL when it comes in. You guessed it. He called and left a message on the answer machine. Instant mad Wife, just add guns.
 Of course I haven't mentioned the SEBR YET!

I just bought 2 new guns $1800 worth and no one knows yet.... I still have to buy a scope for one and mags for the other plus a holster, bipod, sling, extra .308 cozy. OH and I'm buying a safe tomorrow, and I bought a new stock for my 12 GA and I also got a new sure fire..... Im staying in the closet
