Bought a 2005 Suzuki C50 Boulevard v-twin engine with EFI. Getting 56 MPG and having a lot of fun on two wheels.

approx. 35 city / 50 highway on my KZ750, 24/30 in my Galant, and 29/34 in my wife's Vibe. Gas prices are kinda keeping me from trading the Galant in on a Silverado 6 cyl / 5 speed.

48 MPG in air conditioned comfort. VW TDI.

The Suburban gets 20 on the highway at sane, legal speeds and driving at night. Lowers the AC load.

In my 98 Mustang GT (4.6 liter engine) I get 29 mpg on the highway on 89 octane gas if I keep it below 90 mph.

I average 13.5 MPG but on long trips I only get 10-11 MGP... you don't get much milage when driving at 90+MPH

17-23 MPG in my 2WD '94 Ford Ranger SuperCab (4.0-liter, five-speed manual) running 31 x 10.50R15s with a 3.73 ARB rear end and 200,000 on the clock last week. May have to think seriously about getting the old '89 Yamaha Venture Royale out of mothballs; I remember it got 40+ MPG when I was commuting on it.

the dealer told you BLACK is the fastest color didn't he?

your gonna LIKE that bike. If you get bit by the CHEC light at high rpm's ignore it. Suzuki has a wiring harness fix coming out soon. it's a lack of voltage to the lcd panel.
get on over to volusia riders. there are a couple of arfcommers there.

mine was getting around 52 new. after break in it's down to around 48. of course that might be because i can't stay off the throttle

Oh yes, the TDI gets 48 MPG and still accelerates to 60 in under 8 seconds. Pure stock except for the injectors.

Bout 20.1-20.8mpg.

Best I ever got was 26.4mpg coming back from Colorado Springs. Made it home or almost home (12miles away) on one tank.

Moms '02 Grand Prix 3.1l gets about 29-32mpg, depending on whether its me or my parents driving.

My '04 Impala is getting close to 30 MPG. '03 GSXR gets around 30 when I ride it hard, about 40 if I drive it not as hard.

~24 Michigan Highway, 25 when I keep it below 70MPH.
18 around town delivering pizzas and such.

And that's in a 4800lb (dry) car, the longest car since the '70s.

Drove my Saturn delivering pizzas for two years, and I deserved the jump to a real (RWD/V8/Full-Frame) car.

1999 GMC K-3500 single rear wheel pickup, standard cab, longbed with campershell, 350, automatic tranny, 4.10 gears with 285x75 R16 tires at about 45 psi, 118,000 miles with Mobil1 oil in everything from bumper to bumper

13.5 if I drive 70

You're making me feel better about my German V8 only giving me about 19-21MPG on average. If I sacrifice the Aircon I'll get to 23.

Other car's doing 28 or so. Not too bad.

Something tells me, if this were a DU poll, they'd all be driving Volkswagens or hybrids and their MPG would double the average ARFcom fuel economy.

To each his own, but when you get stoned with all your friends, lose control of your Jetta as your friend passes you the bowl, all the socialized healthcare in the world won't save your smelly hippy-ass.

Only about 22-25, and that in an economy car. Sticky tires and a lead foot ruin that 32/41 rating.

I need to get some "mileage" tires, repair the things that need repairing (TPS, O2 sensors, exhaust manifold) and swap back to the stock computer so I can run 87 octane again.

I'd like to get back to the 30-35 mpg city/highway mix I had been getting...

Land Rovers... I swear, I don't think I've ever seen a Land Rover with a Bush sticker on it, and shit, I've even seen a Honda Element and even an Insight with a W'04.

Funny story... I went to visit one of my best friends I haven't seen in about 4-5 years up on an Island on Lake Superior in Wisconsin. I couldn't believe it, after years, we're still into almost all the same hobbies. Problem is, he was a huge pothead... and an even bigger Bush-hater. Though, he didn't have any idea why, other than the Iraq thing, which he said it didn't matter that the guy he voted for voted for it too.

Anyway... the island was full of liberals, I was scared to park my car anywhere, so I made my friend drive most of the time. Some dyke HAMMERED my car door with hers as she got in her car, while I'm sitting in the car listening to Rush outside the library. I said, "Thanks lady." Then, I got out of the car, walked around, to the passenger side to see if it was scratched (fortunately, it wasn't), as I walked around, she quickly shut the door and locked it... like at any moment, I could see a scratch, tear her out of her car and kick her to death. Then, I muttered "fucking unbelievable" and walked back to my side to finish hearing about whatever Rush was talking about right before the London bombings. As she pulls away in her Subaru, I busted out laughing when I saw her "Kerry/Edwards" sticker. I guess she saw the "W Still The President" sticker as she pulled in.
Who knows, maybe it was an accident, but I'll withhold the benefit of the doubt.
