Of note, straight from teh horse's mouth / OMB, US Mil spending as % of GNP is expected to be ~3.4% over the 8yrs of GWB's Presidency - the LOWEST since WW2 - and LOWER than during the Clinton Presidency, despite the false savings of lowered procurement during '92-'00.
