I actually bought this scope with the intention of putting it on this rifle. However, I like the pistol grip more so I put it on my SAR-1. It just didn't look right to me. What do you think of it here? The stock is longer so it does have better eye relief.

About 2" of the length in the back is the rubber eyepiece, and about 3" of the length in the front is the glare shield. Here is what it looks like with the eyepiece removed and the glare shield back:
