(1) MI types are thinking that the insurgents are planning a Tet-type offensive, coordinated attacks all across the country, potentially even including trying to take Baghdad.

(2) Iran is in secret (so they thought) talks with Venezuala.  Chavez, the Venezualan dictator, is an enemy of the US, a friend of Castro, and a hard core socialist.  He is a dangerous man.  We already know what Iran thinks about the US.  Not good.

Like I said in another thread, we need to take Chavez out, period.

Me too. I found that VERY interesting. Sad that we hear these things from fake news shows. Makes you wonder what real news channels are wasting their time on.

For every time Seymour Hersch is right he is wrong 15 times.

You are right, when he is making predictions, such as when he said awhile back that we would have attacked Iran by now, but I think he may be right about (2).  I hope he is wrong about (1), but if he is not, I think by now we are already making preparations.

Could be… but it is prudent to remember Seymour Hersch has a track record worst than most garden variety fortune tellers.
