Anyone see this show yet on NBC? Tommy Lee, yes, the Tommy Lee, goes to my sister's alma mater: University of Nebraska Lincoln!

It's a good show, but it seems staged in some parts.

Examples:
1)Meeting the chancellor-no student EVER gets to meet the chancellor.
2)Picking your roommate-yeah sure, you get a piece of paper saying who your roomie is.
3)Parking your Cobra in the front of the Chancellor's office-wonder if it got towed?

Good show though.

LOL, didn't see it... but at my college I met the President and had dinner at his house my first weekend... Benefit of being one of the Presidential Scholars at the school. Obviously tommy doesn't fit THAT bill!

We could put in roommate requests based upon the folks we met at orientation. Sadly I skipped orientation, so got no input. My roommate was a pink haired atheist punk rocker who told me Mary was a whore the first day we met. Most did not have my experience though.

You got me on 3... freshmen parked on the very top of the campus and it was a good ten minute walk to the car. Downtown was also a 10 minute walk... so it was a wash.

Add this to the list of things for which I'm ashamed of this state.

The masses (majority of which have probably never set foot on a campus) going apeshit over a college football team

Mr. Emo himself, Conor Oberst

Winning football coach of aforemetnioned team elected to the House of Representatives

and now some burnout rock(porn) star makes a reality TV show

People Magazine gave him a quiz. One question was "Who was president during the Civil War?". Tommy answered "Winston Churchill". He got all the simple questions very wrong, except for the last one, when they asked "What is your name?"

It was an OC apartment...according to my sister. It is staged in some parts. And some parts are very obvious. He probably didn't have a ton of books at City Campus Union, etc.

You guys are thinking of the wrong Tommy Lee...think rockstar, not actor. Tommy Lee Jones going to Nebraska might make a better story though.

If it's a little bit creepy seeing a 42-year-old man lusting after a woman young enough to be his daughter, the fact it's only Tommy Lee serves to make it semipalatable in a show that's generally harmless good fun.

Oh, so now it's not cool for a 40 something-year-old to lust after college coeds? WTF is this world coming to?

That is the real Tom Bass (his real name).

We were both in band in high school (I was lead trumpet) and that is exactly how he acted.

Seeing him throw his kit really brings back memories.
