My friend just bought a used Hall safe, it's huge and weights about 2200 pounds.  Anybody know what it's worth??

I don't see many used safes for sale.  I guess people who move figure its easier to leave a heavy safe behind becuase the cost of moving such a heavy item is too much.  

2200 pounds is very heavy.  I believe my 72"x40x28 safe weighs in around 1800 pounds empty so that has to be a little bigger or be something like a jewler safe.  

No idea on cost.  I personally wouldn't buy a used safe unless it was around 1/5 - 1/10 the cost of a new safe.
